will doctors be able to tell exactly what causes my back pain?
im 15 and for about a year, ive head shoulder/back pain, and i’ve also had feelings of anxiety and depression. i haven’t gotten treatment for either, because i thought my back pain was just from carrying a backpack around school, but my back pain and feelings of depression carried on through the summer.
everyone is telling me that i should get my depression treated and my back will feel better. im going to the doctor in a few weeks for a normal check up, and im going to ask him to check out my shoulder pain, and i wanted to know if he’d know exactly whats causing my back pain, and if it is because of depression, if he would know that?
thanks

they might be able to tell you what causes your back pain, probably not. i agree with the post above me. find a good chiropractor. you’d be surprised at how great you’ll be feeling after just a couple visits. the health of your back will determine the health of the rest of your body, and mind as well… your spinal cord branches off to every part of your body so if there is inflammation or a rotated vertebrae or something, it will affect something else in your body too. i agree that the depression is probably being caused from your back, not vice versa.
The doctor will give you some bull crap drugs. Try to get someone your family knows to reccommend a good chiropractor.. The back pain is probably causing the depression not the other way around.. Your chi (energy is blocked). Don’t let anyone tell you that Chiropractors are bad.. There are a few that will rip you for money, but thats why I say get someone you know to reccommend one..
