Its been almost 4 months since I have had this pain, which I got after falling in a pot hole, and had to use my own strenght to pull myself out. Ouch, it hurts.
Would also like to know what profession doctor I should visit for this treatment.

I would start with seeing just a general practitioner MD. If necessary, they might refer you to a orthopedic doctor. That is the specialty you might be looking for.
However, unless the injury is very serious, you might look into a physical therapist. They were very helpful to me for lower back and knee pain. A good PT will start off your session with heat or ice packs as well as ultrasound or a little massage. However, the main contribution of a PT is to give you a series of physical exercises specifically geared to your injury. Many of these exercises you can do at home. Others use equipment found in most health clubs. Some exercises require special equipment only available at a PT office. If you have good insurance, you can arrange PT sessions 2 to 3 times a week.
I am sorry for your discomfort. The doctors to see would first to see your PCP to get a referral to PT or a sports medicine specialist, you may need some ultra sound on your shoulder (very helpful for pain)There are many things that you could have done to your shoulder to cause it to still have pain 4 months later: a tore rotator cuff, torn muscles…That must have been a huge pot hole you fell in! Soak in epsom salts, as this draws out any bruising and pain also… but get a firm diagnosis before you start self treating as you may cause yourself more pain and create more issues for your body. Good luck and take care of yourself
