What exercise can be done by a young person with a shoulder and knee joint pain/arthritis?

I Cant do any upper body exercise due to my right shoulder and cant do any lower body exercise due to the knee problem. I tried swimming but it too causes shoulder pain. Have tried different doctors and physiotherapy without any success…….I AM JUST 34 YEARS OLD. HOW WILL I LIVE THE REST OF MY LIFE WITHOUT EXERCISE???, I will probably die young due to lack of exercise. this is very frustrating.

Do PILATES. It is just merely stretching and you don’t have to make any abrupt moves like in lifting weights. In pilates, you just stretch and it is very relaxing too.
How about Yoga? it’s just a suggestion anyways so better ask for the opinion from the doctors first before you get started…Yoga is kinda cool! good luck mate~ ^^
Don’t worry gentleman, go to an EXPERT acupuncturist and get the arthritis treated. If you don’t find anybody you can visit us. If you don’t want to be treated try with yog under the experts’ guidance.
Wow, this sounds like me a year ago. Have you been to a doctor that specializes in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Lupus, Fibromyalgia and connective tissue diseases? That is where I found the help I needed for my pain. I have fibromyalgia and feel much better since I am under his care. Best wishes, and God bless.
Did you try cycling? trekking? Yoga?
I have the same problem than you but only at the knee. I have a masseur who knows this kind of sickness and his massages help me a lot about taking out the pain and I feel my knee and leg strong again. I make a lot of trekking, cycling, walking, skying, but in an easy way. It is often ok if I do not force too much. Just gently and regularly. If you force yourself, it is painful and it takes a long time to feel better. Stretching regularly is also great and helps a lot. You should also take care of what you are eating, eat healthy like that your body will be fine and you do not get weight so you feel lighter.
You can also change some habits and put emphasis on creation (arts, writing, etc.) or studies for yourself. There are so many possibilities. Like that you feel great and confident and people find you really interesting.
Many people live an entire life without any exercise and eating junk food. If you practice a bit and eat healthy you will look great and have a long life.
A situation is not so important, important is what you do about it. Today you feel very frustrated but when you will discover there are many possibilities for you, you will feel much better.
