What causes shoulder pain, vomiting, and Diarrhea?
For the last three days I have had really bad pain from the tip of my right shoulder extending to my neck. Today, in addition to my right shoulder, my left shoulder is now hurting. Almost a burning sensation. I have also been vomiting for the past few days and am feeling very nauseous overall. To make matters worse, i also have bad diarrhea. Prior to the diarrhea i had not Had a bowel movement in 5 days. I have tried Pepto Bismol for my stomach and diarrhea. And also tried ibuprofen for my shoulder pain. Are these connected? What is wrong with me?

Five days of self-diagnosis has not worked. So, visit a doctor!
Get to a doctor, asap.
Ok, this is not good. I don’t want to scare you but some of the symptoms you have mentioned could mean heart attack. Do you have a history of heart disease? or, family history of heart disease? do you have any of the following symptoms: jaw pain, chest pain, shortness of breath? Many people do not know but a heart attack doesn’t always have the "classic symptoms" sometimes they may have pain between the shoulder blades, mid epigastric pain (often mistaken for heartburn). I work as an RN on the ICU, when someone has had a heart attack (MI) I always ask if they threw up or had experienced nausea because that usually indicates a large portion of heart muscle is damaged (when muscle is damaged, is cause lactic acid to be released and with increased lactic acid levels comes nausea and vomiting) this is very important for the Dr. to know because then and echocardiogram is neccessary. I don’t say this to scare you but to try to get you to understand how serious this may be. However, it could be just that you have a pinched nerve…who knows? One thing is for sure, the symptoms you are experiencing are NOT normal and may indicate something more serious.
Hope you will take care of this ASAP, and feel better soon. Best of luck to you!
