shoulder pain..i went to the dr he said it sounded like my fibromyalgia acting up.I just cant seem to think?

that is true due to the fact i never had any pain in my shoulder till after i went to turn and i heard something pop.My symptoms in my shoulder are pain,tingling,burning,(always feels like its just waking up from falling a sleep like a foot or arm does)and swells. does anyone have any ideas what i should do this has been going on for about 3 months now.thank you in advance for any help.

definately NOT fms–
there is NO SWELLING in FMS
things don’t ‘pop’ in fms (although the pain that doesn’t go away after the injury heals could be fms)..
you need actual tests-maybe another doctor–if he calls this fms–he may be wrong about the original diagnosis
This can be either fibromyalgia or possibly bursitis! I suffer from both and the bursitis usually flares up without any warning signs. I used to take muscle relaxers only at night before going to bed, but I didn’t like the way I felt in the mornings( I’d still be groggy for hours) even after a hot shower. So i went to a pain management specialist; especially since I have fibromyalgia; and the offered several options! I hope this of some value to you. I hope you feel better soon! Sometimes the change in weather can have an effect on your condition also!!! Good Luck!
