I just have a quick question out of curiosity. I know that a common heart attack symptom for women is shoulder pain. My question is, does that pain remain constant for a period of time? Or is it just a quick passing pain? I always wondered how you would tell the difference.

Women can be fairly asymptomatic when it comes to heart attacks until it’s gotten really bad, so they’re pretty difficult to diagnose, sometimes. I would say that your shoulder pain should last for longer than a few minutes, but it could dissapate.
Bottom line, if you’re worried about a heart attack, go see your doctor.
