I sit at the computer for 8 hours a day at work and have severe neck and shoulder pain on my right side because I "mouse" right-handed…. What kind of excercises or weights should I do to relieve the pain?

Wrist curls may help strengthen your wrist. Start with a light dumbbell, around 5lbs or so, and simply curl your wrist up and down. You can use your legs for support if you need it. If you have access to a gym, you can work your neck muscles by picking up a bench press bar (or use a smith machine) in the front, and use your arms to lift toward your neck. Again start with a light weight and as you progress add more as needed.
Don’t forget to use a wrist and keyboard pads to help support your wrist muscles while at work. This greatly helps alleviate the pain as you might be letting your wrists sag without know it, which contributes to the pain. Also, if you have time, train your left hand to operate the mouse. This significantly helped me as I am able to switch hands and distribute the fatigue factor across both.
