Severe shoulder blade pain, cant breathe doctor says its pneumonia but i am scared and would like some opinion?

hi there i started off with a virus then got some shoulder blade pain thought it was a bad muscle spasm but it became severe it was so bad i could not breathe i had to call a ambulance. was taken to hospital. doctor says a have pneumonia. I am on medication and strong pain killers. now i am coughing blood. i have googled symptoms for pneumonia and cant find shoulder blade pain linked with pneumonia. this worries me. has anyone else had the same??? p.s i still have shoulder blade pain not sure when to expect it to get any better??

You should listen to the doctor or get a second opinion from another doctor. Stay in bed and take care of yourself instead of googling or asking strangers what they think about a medical condition. Get well soon! Don’t be afraid to go back to the hospital, sometimes they let people with pneumonia out too soon.
Mel,like Barbara said,don’t ask here or google pneumonia as there’s many symptoms that aren’t listed.. I had pneumonia several times & yep,sometimes so bad my shoulder even my toes hurt,aghhh
Sure your Doc didn’t dx you without taking tests..If you’re unsure get another opinion to make sure…Being scared isn’t going to help & today pneumonia’s easily cured so take it easy & get well..
If bacterial you’ll get antibiotics..Let your Dr know you’re coughing lots of blood too..
