Shoulder Pain Symptoms, Causes & Treatments
You need to see a doctor. I have a cervical spine injury and I have the pains you have written. Here are a few links you may want to check out

Here is a good site on nerve pain and how to identify it

You really should see a doctor, not a chiropractor, as soon as you can. If it does happen to be a cervical spine issue the longer you wait the harder it will be to get better.
Sound like you need to go have that checked out you could mhave dislocated your shoulder or it could be something worse
That was the same pain I had. I went to a chiropractor and after a few sessions it was feeling much better!
I have the very same thing right now. its called Cervical Radiculopathy (Pinched Nerve). See a pain management doc and a physical therapist. Mine has been going on for a month and a half now, but the meds mixed with rest and the therapy is working. The pain started in my neck and worked down into the shoulder then down my arm. I even get twitches in my upper arm that drive me crazy. Try sleeping with your neck in a neutral position and supported with a soft neck brace or neck pillow, even a rolled up towel. Take ibuprofen for the inflammation. Don’t know how I got it, I think i just slept on it awkward or had bad posture. It will get better with the right treatment. Good Luck.
