Ectopic pregnancy shoulder pain?

With an ectopic pregnancy i have heard that shoulder tip pain is common ? could you this sign withou any other symptoms and does the shoulder pain only occur in the left shoulder ??? please help ? cheers

Yes, ectopic pregnancy can cause bleeding in the abdomen which irritates the diaphragm. This presents as shoulder pain, but it’s not limited to the left or the right. If the pregnancy was in the left fallopian tube, it would be on the left and vice versa. HTH!
