ok im a 100% fitness 14 yr old whos working out and playing sports all the time, a few months ago while swimming i got this bad pain at the top on my arm, after giving some rest and going through some bad pain it got better, now its getting worse again and im scared. im fighting throuigh the pain to get thorugh my weight room trainning but it hurts damn, im going to the doctors in a few days im curious as to what i should expect from him.

like wht treatment will he give me.

X-ray taken one month back shows narrowing of C5-C6 disk space. Presently shoulder pain and moderate neck stiffness. pl advice non-surgical treatment

It’s been four days since my wrestling adventure with my friend. She got the best of me…..she has about 40lbs on me and I had a few drinks which didn’t help. I am still having a piercing pain shoot up and down between my neck and the back of my right shoulder. Only relief that has worked is Motrin. Should I keep toughing it out or could this be severe?

im 15 and for about a year, ive head shoulder/back pain, and i’ve also had feelings of anxiety and depression. i haven’t gotten treatment for either, because i thought my back pain was just from carrying a backpack around school, but my back pain and feelings of depression carried on through the summer.
everyone is telling me that i should get my depression treated and my back will feel better. im going to the doctor in a few weeks for a normal check up, and im going to ask him to check out my shoulder pain, and i wanted to know if he’d know exactly whats causing my back pain, and if it is because of depression, if he would know that?

Ive been getting very bad pains around my shoulder blade for the past few days not sure why, But it hurts. So I’m just wondering if i can take Pain relief tablets while I’m taking the Contraceptive pill.

It all started about 2 weeks ago when it first developed. i was bed ridden with sickness and i thought it must just be sores from sitting in bed all that time. but its still with me and it is a really sore throbbing pain .it flares every know and then and turning sometimes become hard as well as picking stuff up off the floor. it is most notable when i lay down in bed or sit down. what could it be and treatment advice thnks

Has anyone had successful treatment for this condition? My options at the moment are cortisone (sp?) injections into the tendon or surgery. My chiroprator has advised me though that these options are both extreme and I should try other things first. I have had acupuncture in the past and it did give me back a lot of movement but the pain has not decreased at all, if anything it is getting worse over time and now radiates down my arm. I am hoping to hear from someone that has recovered from this.

After playing competitive tennis for 7 years 5-8 hours a week, I finally developed pain in my right shoulder at the bursa. The shoulder is slightly painful for a few days following play then goes away after ice, anti-inflamitories and rest (no tennis). Once I’ve given the shoulder this brief time to heal, I feel no pain during my every day activities. Question: How long do I need to avoid playing in order for the pain to NOT reappear once I do get back on the court. Would a cortisone shot – should my doctor give me one – keep any pain from reappearing? Bottom line, I’m devistated to not be able to play as tennis is my passion.

I am taking Naproxen for an upper arm and shoulder injury.

it’s almost 1 week having this pain on my right shoulder joint….this makes my arms cramps and feel cold…thus, i’m avoiding to hold cold water cause it affects it and avoiding to carry heavy thingd…..i tried to hot compress it but the pain still there…what treatment could it be better?>>>>THANKS
