I have 2 slightly herniated discs in my neck, suffer with TMJ syndrome, and have dizzy spells. This has been going on for the past 2+ years. I’ve been to SEVERAL doctors, none of which have helped me, and had several diagnoses including vertigo. My orthopedic dr doesn’t seem to think these symptoms are all related. The neck and jaw pain are mostly just on my left side which I’ve had a nerve conduction study on and was diagnosed with radiculopathy. Due to the pain and stress of dealing with not getting any relief, I am all knotted up around my collar bone and shoulder blade on my left side. I have run out of solutions. Is there anyone out there that can give me some suggestions?!!!

My wife is been complaining of pain from her top of shoulder near neck to all the way right up to her finger tips in her right hand.
We did a MRI & have found narrowing of gaps in her C4-C5-C6-
Couple of my friends who had simillar problems have gone through Chiropractic & they are happy with the results.
But few Ortho whom we consulted , have told us not to go Chiropractic and tare totally against it.
We do not wantto take the surgery route.
I am bit confused- any suggestions- please reply only if you have had simillar problems / treatment

Pain has put me in bed the better part of 3 years. I try to do some activity but it tires me out so much that going back to bed is the only relief I get. Exercise is out of the question, hurts to much. Is my body starting to shut down because of inactivity ? HELP ! I’m a female.

h as rotater cuff stabilization and scapula work but its not working. I had an MRI scan which shows no tears therefore the surgeon doesnt seem to think that surgey is the answer. It causes me pain on my trap and shoulder blade as well which is preventing me from training. I have read that prolotherapy is good for loose shoulders. Can anybody shed any light on this form of treatment or even better has anybody used this method for similar problems?

If so, what is the best treatment? I have heard of injections and surgery. Seeing as how the pain meds and PT have failed I’m just trying to weigh my options. Any input would be helpful. Thank you.

I saw some pain relief pads with a coin inside which you press, they get warm instantly. You can use it for your back, shoulders etc. You can also put them in the fridge I think.
The problem is, I cannot remember the exact name all I know is that you have to press the coin. Help please

I fell off a horse(beginning of Feb.) and my lower back has been hurting since. I also have a bruised bone in my shoulder(from that-in treatment). My hip was hurting too and I had an MRI but it was fine. I have not had my back examined. My doc told me to start physical therapy(already in for shoulder) and that I should start swimming again(he basically said I was fine). Well, I started swimming last saturday and before I even got through a lap my lower back started to hurt even more. It was hurting for the whole 30 minutes of laps. It hurts all the time and prescription pain meds aren’t working. It wakes me up at night. What should I do? I was planning on swimming again this week but I’m not sure now.
I cant give you my exact age but I can tell you that I’m getting my permit very soon(hint-hint). I’ve been swimming freestyle and backstroke but both aggravate it more. It hurts especially during free style and when I sleep on my stomach at night. It hurts when I sleep on ym back and side too. It hurts to sit, stand or lie down all the time. I just swam again last night and it’s definietly worse. Like I said, I fell directly on my lower back and shoulder so a fracture is a possibility. I also have an electrical popping sensation in my hips and pain that had started moving below the knee.

I’m considering taking Accutane for my acne and the thing I am most concerned about is the joint pains. I have no problem if when I stop the medication they will go away, but I had some people tell me that they now have bad shoulders or knees…um, can you please tell me your experience?

About 2 months ago i started having a sharp pain behind me left shoulder blade as well as a pain in the left side of the chest (sometime above, sometimes below the nipple). I’ve also been having a lot of acidity in my stomach.
I was worried that the issue was heart related, so I went to doctor, who checked my blood pressure, my heart beat and who also did an electrocardiogram. Everything turned out well and they told me to start taking omeprazole 20mg for the acidity. However a month has passes since I finished the treatment, the acidity is coming back and the pain in both my back and chest is coming back. The pain is not always present. Sometimes its triggered by breathing deeply and sometimes by movement.
Could this be something related to my muscles? Could it be related to the acidity I’ve been experiencing?
Thank you for your time!
