I have had two visits to my G.P First time he said that i could have a trapped nerve, so he gave me tablets for the pain, After 11 days in pain was getting a lot stronger and more through the night. On my second visit he done the same arm tests and as wrote off for me to have a neck x/ray now waiting for appointment. While still in terrible pain. The pain which lays on my shoulder and muscle feels like it is getting thumped repeatedly, pain travels down my forearm is stiff and in my first two fingers and top of my thumb. ? Also noticed that i cannot curl my left arm upwards by its self towards my body, I put in position with my other hand, But when i release it, It flops down and i cannot hold it up by it self. Anybody else had the same symptoms as me. Would gladly like to no what the problem is. Many thanks

I am about 5 weeks pregnant and I was wondering how long it takes to develop ectopic pregnancy symptoms…I have shoulder and neck pain (muscular) cramping, achy belly and occassional ovarian pain like a shooting pain…similar to when I have cysts…Does this sound bad or like a normal pregnancy? I have no fever and no bleeding. I am going to the doctor tomorrow, but wondered if I should go to ER.

Hi,
I used to have irregular bleeding before I had my son amongst other symptoms.
I had an operation which showed nothing abnormal apart from a small cyst but got told that wouldn’t cause it as was too small, and further tests were going to be done but then fell pregnant.
Since having my son they seemed to of regulated,
but
I’ve started to randomly bleed again, but it comes with a horrible headache and sharp shoulder pain (right shoulder)
Does anyone know what this could be, meaning why have I got a headache and shoulder pain with it?
There’s no way I can be pregnant.
Thank you in advance

I an 24 have been suffering for years with a severe pain that always starts in my shoulders, it isn’t the result of any injury. Typically it radiates from my shoulders either up my neck, down my back, into my collar bone and or down my arms. It’s a horrible pain that makes it so I don’t even want to move. I have it at least 3 times a week and normally I have no clue it’s about to start, I can be driving down the road and it will hit me. There is no pattern as to when it will hit, it is random and it doesn’t have any other symptoms that I can find. I just don’t know what to do anymore, I’ve seen 3 doctors over 4 years and had numerous test, Ct scans, x-rays, mri’s and the only thing the doctors can tell me is there is a little arthritis in my right shoulder, one gave me cortizone shots but they didn’t help, neither did 6 minths of physical therapy. Not one of them has been able to give me a diagnosis. Advil, tylenol, excederin, none of it helps, neither do any of those creams or heat patches. I am fed up, I can’t take it anymore it’s really interfering with my life, I can’t even sleep anymore. Any idea’s, sugestions, words of encouragement would be helpful. I have no insurance and am financially tapped out and there aren’t programs that help unless I have a child. What do I do?

Last night my dog took off on an extendo leash and pulled my arm really hard. This morning I woke up with a lot of pain/cracking in my shoulder, and numbess/tingling in 3 fingers on my right hand. I am sure it’s just a pinched nerve or something, but if anyone has any ideas on how to relieve these symptoms, that would be great.

I’ve had on and off shoulder pain/spasm (left side only) for a couple of years now. But 2 weeks ago, I realized the spasm is spreading to the right side of my shoulder. I went to a massage therapist to relieve the pain, and it worked for a few hours and the pain came back. The pain is now spreading to the lower back of my neck.
In addition, I don’t know if my other symptoms are related or not but hear me out.
• a few weeks ago, I realized I’m losing grip strength on my right hand (though, only with heavy objects 30-50 lbs or more)
• I’ve woken up in the middle of the night 3x in the past few weeks, with numb and tingly forearms
• this morning I’ve been experiencing light headaches but only in the left side of my head
Hope someone can help me out and give some opinion before heading to the doctor’s office.

I’ve asked several doctors about this but they all say there is nothing visibly wrong with my shoulder. Since about the age of 10 (I’m 21 now) I’ve been getting shoulder pain in my right side.
This pain occurs at random times with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes it happens once a month, sometimes it happens 2 times a month. Sometimes the pain lasts 3 seconds, sometimes the pain lasts up to a minute. The pain is intolerable and it feels like my shoulder blade is getting stabbed or electrocuted with sharp pain. My entire body tenses up and I can’t move.
Has anybody experienced something like this? Or knows of someone that has had similar symptoms?
Help

Ok this has been a problem since this July. I was in a wreck. Rear-ended ,speed b/t 60-70mph.I’ve been seen by several Dr’s. Ive had x-ray’s,CT scan of spine,2 MRI’s,PT-14 visits..everything is coming back normal on tests which is good..But Im in alot of PAIN still everyday..I swear it’s getting worse by the day. One Dr. said bulging disc, pinched nerves,etc..I really haven’t gotten a straight answer yet! I’ve been to a ER Dr.,a Regular Family Dr., a Physical Therapist, and now finally an Orthopedic Dr.. I feel CRAZY honestly or well getting there. Im only 24 yrs old..IDK what to do i’m confused. My symptoms are burning in shoulders mainly left and also neck pain left too, constant sharp pains from bottom of ear to bottom of shoulder blade, this wakes me at nite, stiff neck/shoulder in morning, swelling in both very visible, also tingling & numbness in left arm "pins & needles" all the way to finger tips, headaches too..I know this is alot. And I just got a cortisone shot half a week ago,no help at all that I can tell..I was honestly in more pain when I left. If someone can tell me something or make some sense of this PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Also the last dr I saw which is a Orthopedic said something about pain management ..He said we’d talk about it at my next appt..which is a few days after Thanksgiving.. And I don’t know what he means..I know I probably sound crazy with all the ?’s but make some sense of it..Thanks to whoever does:)

Description of symptoms: Pain in neck (at base), in right shoulder, upper right arm muscle radiating directly below elbow (back side) radiating to lower arm (front side) into wrist and fingers. Wrist feels tight like a rubber band is constricting wrist. Difficult to use right hand and arm even to do simple tasks. ie. open water bottle, type, grasp objects, push TV remote using pointer finger, unable to hook bra, tie shoes, cut meat, put shirt on without pain increasing. Pain lingers after any type of physical activity. Vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing toilet, hanging up clothes causes extreme pain. Ice and heat relieve pain slightly, medication ie. morphine, hydrocodine relieve pain temporarily. The onset of my condition started in 1992 and becchroniconic in 2002 after I hyper extended my right arm while tip toeing to put a box on the top of a bunk bed.
