I occasionally feel a slight discomforting pain in around the areas of my upper left arm, elbow, and shoulder when it’s cold outside. It feels more like in the muscle or bones. When the weather is decent or warm, my entire left arm feels fine.

Well i injured my left shoulder in a soccer game last October. I had a grade 2 separated shoulder and was in a sling for 2 weeks. But the sports doctor i went to 2 weeks later said that it was not as bad as my other doctor thought it was and he took me out of the sling. Well i have been having problems since than epically at work. I am a dishwasher and have to put glasses away but the only way to do that is by picking up a glass and than lifting it up and put it onto the shelf it goes on well i have to that dozens of times a night not counting putting them on a tray and washing them and carrying them. Also when i am bringing my left arm across my body to grab glasses and put them on the tray it it gives me pain and i do this dozens of times. So what could be the problem with my shoulder as i am sitting here keeping it still typing this it is giving me pain.

I work for UPS and when driving the truck long distances i get a pain on my right and left shoulder blades (or the muscles in that area rather). I try to change my posture or seat position and just can’t get rid of it. It doesn’t ever happen in personal vehicles though. Any idea of what I can do to prevent this? It’s getting to the point that I’m not enjoying the job like I use to because of this pain.

I’ve messed around with guitar for about a year and I’ve gotten serious about learning now and when I put the shoulder strap on and stand with my electric, it almost immediately hurts the muscle where it rests. Is this normal because I get this same pain when I lift stuff alot or carry something around. Is it because I am home schooled and hardly ever carry anything on my shoulders because I don’t use a book bag? Will this pain go away?

I sit at the computer for 8 hours a day at work and have severe neck and shoulder pain on my right side because I "mouse" right-handed…. What kind of excercises or weights should I do to relieve the pain?

I Cant do any upper body exercise due to my right shoulder and cant do any lower body exercise due to the knee problem. I tried swimming but it too causes shoulder pain. Have tried different doctors and physiotherapy without any success…….I AM JUST 34 YEARS OLD. HOW WILL I LIVE THE REST OF MY LIFE WITHOUT EXERCISE???, I will probably die young due to lack of exercise. this is very frustrating.

I get a pain in my left neck and shoulder when I walk for 5 minutes or more. It can be casued by dancing and usually takes the same amount of time to start hurting. Some activities dont seem to induce the pain, for example rowing is typically pain free. But cycling causes pain. The pain is accompanied by trigger points on the side of my neck, left trap, below left shoulder blade, left tricep, just across the left elbow towards the inner forarm, and sometimes on my left sideunder my arm pit around the top of the rib cage. I can usually calm the pain down by stopping walking, taking deep breaths, and stretching neck and shoulder. Stressfull situations can cause the same pains and trigger points,
