This is going to be a long but, accurate answer. Degenerative disc disease at C 4 - C7 simply means that there is wear and tear in the neck region. Mild streaking of cervical spine C7 is due to neuromuscular spasms. This basically means the there are " streaks" in the disc at C 7 that are known to be the cause of muscle spasms. C5-7 shows that the cervical discs ( which are cushions between the vertebrae or shock absorbers ). The cushions in this regions are " herniated" meaning that they are bulging ( not normal ) out ( sticking out instead of being in between each vertebrae) . When this occurs, the nerve roots become displaced, in addition, stenosis ( which means a narrowing of space) so that the nerves are squeezed because the space that they need to function, without pain, are too crowded. This, in itself, can cause pain. There is pressure being applied to the nerve endings. The spinal fluid was negative for a infectious process as to the cause of your pain, as with Meningitis. Spinal fluid is supposed to be sterile, as in the sense, free from germs ( viral or bacterial ). Mild indentation of the cord is relatively common. It just means that the cervical ( neck ) spinal column shows mild indentation. So, basically the spinal column in the neck region is not distorted or out of place. Slipped disc just means that the disc ( the cushion between the vertebrae) have " slipped" out of their normal position. I hope that I was able to explain this well enough. As far as " Ozonucleosis ", this a is new alternative instead of having spinal surgery. It has emerged as an affordable, least invasive approach and costs two-thirds the price of conventional surgery. The actual cost of the procedure, I'm not sure of. But, it sounds like a good option for spinal surgery, which, is much more involved and costly. " In case of surgery, the chance of recurrence of pain is nearly 15 % as against less than 3% in ozone treatment. People suffering from spinal injuries such as low back pain and disc disorder now have a reason to smile, as injections of ozone gas could bring better results than conventional surgery. Ozonucleolysis or ozone discectomy for curing spinal injury is a better option than sugery. Ozone discetomy is the injection of ozone inside the affected intervertebral disc.Ozone is basically, oxygen ( O 2) but has an extra an oxygen molecule to it ). Ozone is the smell that can be in the air after a thunderstorm ). Ozone discectomy is the injection of ozone inside the affected discs. When injected, Ozone (0 3 ), breaks down into 0 2 ( oxygen ) and 0 ( single oxygen) and rapidly dissolves in the water produced by the disc. It causes shrinkage of the disc, thus reducing its volume and lessening pressure on the nerves. The treatment relieves symptoms substantially and, after 2 sittings, people " can go back to work under medical guidance." I'm almost finished !! I recently had cervical spinal fusion surgery and, I have 2 metal ( titanium plates ) in my neck. So, this alternative shows promise that there is a less, invasive way to treat cervical disc (s) problems. Prior to this option, you would have to be hospitalized. An incision is actually placed through the front of the neck. Then, either bone fusion ( bone marrow extracted from the hip) or titanium plates are surgically placed to stabilize the spine and correct any narrowing or stenosis of the nerve endings. The narrowing that causes the pinched nerve of the cervical spine is widened. This is much more involved than Ozonucleolysis. As far as the reoccurence of pain, I was unable to find any information in regards to this. But, to me. it's worth trying this method. If it doesn't helps, then there is always the option of pursuing the traditional method. I had the surgery, I recovered quickly and, I have been pain free . To avoid further injury to the neck region, it is important that you maintain good posture, perform exercises that help strengthen the neck and supporting muscles. Physical Therapy can instruct as to what exercises that you might need and also to be sure that you do the exercises correctly. Then, you will be given home exercises that you can do on your own. This is a very important key to a person's recovery process. I hope that this information was useful and here's a website:

1) Your upper cervical spine is degenerating, or wearing out.
2) Your C-5&C-6 Discs show that they are herniated (somewhat like bulging discs), pinching the nerves that are connected to those disks and probably causing pain. Your spinal cord is reacting and responding normally.
3) "No intraspinal SOL" Not sure what that means (probably a specialist term) "No infective disease process", you're free of pathogens.
