Are my symptoms a sign of something more serious?

I have really horrible fatigue, muscle stiffness and joint pain. I’m do work out 5 days a week so I know its not inactivity.
My muscle stiffness in my legs gets so bad its a chore to get up and down my stars.
Also, I wake up at night because of pain in my shoulder.
I researched and my symptoms sound. Like fibromyalgia. Does anyone know anything about this illness?

You’ve probably just worked yourself sick.
By working out 5 days a week (although its usually a good thing) you’re adding a lot of stress onto your body. ALSO 5 days a week doesnt give adequate time for muscles to relax and repair themselves so you may just be experiencing a very long form of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness)
You’ll also find that if you go rehearsing your own symptoms instead of seeking a professional medical opinion you’ll find that you have fibromyalgia, cancer or even AIDS so its best not to go this route.
My recommendation is maybe consider giving yourself a break or at least doing a lighter work out on off days. If it keeps up question a doctor for a bit of help
i am so sick of people jumping on the fms bandwagon….
it is a real specific condition…
but these symptoms can be many things as simple as dehydration or a vitamin deficiency to lymes to fms to thyroid to many other conditions
