All of a sudden I did a slight pulling action on my shoulder, and right after I experienced severe debilitating pain in my right upper back to the point where I could barely move, and it hurt to breathe cough or laugh. The pain raps around to the front of my rib, and it has been a week since the original injury and it still hurts. I have poor posture, and winged scapula on both shoulders, although the hurt one is now sticking out way more than the other one. Anybody have any ideas of what it might be? I am going to the Dr. tomorrow but I just want to know if anybody has experienced this before?? Any ideas of what it might be?

Hello,
My husband recently developed difficulty when swallowing food or drink so he went to see the doctor and he said it was probably his thyroid gland, but today all blood tests came back normal. He has since developed a shooting pain every time he swallows out to his right shoulder. He also has hot flashes and fever. Any ideas of what this may be? Thanks.

I have recently been diagnosed with Lyme Disease… My doctor has prescribed Doxycycline @ 100 mg twice daily for two weeks. I was wondering how long it’s going to take for it to kick in and help the pain subside? I think I am in the second stage of the disease. I have slight swelling in my knees and pain in my shoulders and knees… More tired and exhausted everyday… Thanks in advance!

I get a pain in my left neck and shoulder when I walk for 5 minutes or more. The pain is accompanied by trigger points on the side of my neck, left trap, below left shoulder blade, left tricep, just across the left elbow towards the inner forarm, and sometimes on my left sideunder my arm pit around the top of the rib cage. I can usually calm the pain down by stopping walking, taking deep breaths, and stretching neck and shoulder.

I’ve asked several doctors about this but they all say there is nothing visibly wrong with my shoulder. Since about the age of 10 (I’m 21 now) I’ve been getting shoulder pain in my right side.
This pain occurs at random times with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes it happens once a month, sometimes it happens 2 times a month. Sometimes the pain lasts 3 seconds, sometimes the pain lasts up to a minute. The pain is intolerable and it feels like my shoulder blade is getting stabbed or electrocuted with sharp pain. My entire body tenses up and I can’t move.
Has anybody experienced something like this? Or knows of someone that has had similar symptoms?
