I’ve been playing the violin for about 4-5 months now and I’ve just randomly gotten like this weird pain in my left arm.

It’s like sore all on the outside of my arm and my shoulder stiffins up and I can’t move it and when I do it hurts really bad and it pops and stuff. I’m only 13 so i don’t think it’s caused by me being old or anything, but do you know what I could do about it? It just feels like I have lock jaw or whatever it’s called but in my shoulder.
I want to take pills for pain relief soo bad but I can swallow them, last time I tryed I nearly choked to death!
It’s not really the pain, it’s more of just the annoyance of my shoulder locking into place and also when I try to move it, it pops a lot and the bones grinde together!
I have a good private teacher?? ..I think maybe I might just be sleeping on it wrong or maybe it’s just because I pracice about 7 hours a day.
Who the heck said I was gonna give up violin!!

My mother is sufffering from acute left shoulder pain after open surgery of gallblader and stone removal

I have been having shoulder problems for the past week. It clicks and pops. It also feels "heavy" all the time. Sometimes there is a sharp pain that is stabbing nature but it comes and goes. Also, sometimes my fingers (4th and5th) on the affected side tingle but it is faint and rarely felt. There is some limited ROM of the shoulder. I have a postive arm drop on the affected shoulder. I would honestly like to not move it at all but with it being my dominant shoulder, I have little choice. Last Sunday, I went to the VA near my home and had x rays taken of the affected shoulder. The doc there said there was no dislocation or Fx. He actually didn’t even give me an answer. Just gave me some Aleve and said rest it. I get no relief from Aleve, Tylenol, advil, etc. Anyone have any ideas on what it is (i’m thinking maybe rotator cuff) and what possible home treatments I can do before I go see another Dr not w/ the VA? Thanks
Also should have mentioned that heat nor ice relieve symptoms.

Today, all of a sudden, I realized my left shoulder/arm hurt. It has been getting worse throughout the day. Now I can’t even move my arm with out cringing due to the pain. Also, it feels kind of weird like when I move it it feels like it is being pulled. What’s wrong with it?? It hurts REALLY bad

I have almost intolerable pain in my right shoulder, arm and 3 fingers of my hand. It has been seriously affecting my sleep and daytime movements.

I took half of one about a week ago. Now I am having preggo symptoms. I am concerned that if I AM, then I might have caused some sort of damage? Of course I will be discussing this with the doctor if my test comes out postive…I don’t know what I would do if I hurt a baby by this medicine. Please help.

Has anyone on here taken a long haul flight with arm and shoulder pain

Hey, I’ve had real bad pain in my shoulder for a good 4 days now, I don’t know exactly how I damaged it, but its fairly painful at the moment, I’ve tried using pain relief patches and deep heat, along with pain killers, but nothing is really working.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I went to an orthopedic surgeon and was told that I have arthritis in my shoulder. He recommended Arthroscopy, but I have heard stories about people’s shoulder not being the same.

I was not sure if Chiropractors can do anything for shoulder pain, or not. I would like to try an option before going thru any kind of surgery.
