I get this slight burning pain when I breath in deeply at the front of my left shoulder on the day before I come down with a cold. Is this normal? Is it a worry? Does anyone else get this?

About ten years ago, I injured my shoulder falling out of bed. It remained somewhat loose after that, but although I occasionally felt some pain, I did not have any real problems with it. Lately however, I’ve noticed having problems with it. As well as shoulder pain, I have been experiencing weakness in my upper arm. I can now only hold my schoolbooks with that arm for about 30 seconds before it hurts to the point that I need to support it with my other arm or put down the books. By that point my arm is noticeably trembling. I sometimes experience pain or numbness in the fingers of that hand and they are becoming clumsy. If I raise my arm, I feel pain at about a 45 degree angle, and it feels as though my shoulder joint has to force into place to raise it, and when I do I hear a loud crack. When I type at the computer, I noticed the fingers in my left hand have become slower, and sometimes they feel cold after a long time. Should I seek medical help or will it heal on its own?
I neglected to mention that now my elbow on the same arm is also causing me pain, and the pain is constantly shooting into my wrist. All of this is affecting my cross-dribble in basketball, so I need to get this figured out. And great answers those of you who have answered so far!

I have a rotator cuff injury – not drastic, but it’s keeping me from training martial arts as strenuously as I would like. Chiroractic treatment has helped a lot, but still there is some popping in my shoulder joint, and I am considering checking into prolotherapy. Anyone have positive or negative results from prolotherapy – especially for shoulder pain? Thanks for any information.

i WAS ALSO TOLD THAT MY RIGHT OVARY IS STICKY IT DOES NOT FLOAT HAS ANYONE HAD A CHILD AFTER THIS PROBLEM

My recovery seems to be going nicely except for shoulder pain! Not sure why? It has something to do with the CO2 gas they pump into you. I was just curious if anyone else had experienced this weird, and awful pain with the shoulder. If so, what did you to do ease the pain?

I am pretty sure I have heartburn because I often feel the burning sensation in my throat area, but is this sharp pain underneath my right should blade related to heartburn as well? I didnt have this before I was pregnant and I am wondering if the heartburn and shoulder/back pain are related. It’s very painful and I am trying to figure out what the heck it is.

For quite a few years now, unexpectantly i get a severe pain in my left shoulder. The pain is that bad my whole body tightens. It only lasts for seconds then the pain goes away completely. I have never been in any accidents or broken any bones. My doctor seems useless. Anyone know what this could be?
Yes there is a history of heart disease in my family. My mum and grandad have had heart attacks and their blood pressure would be high occasionally

i woke up today with pain in my left shoulder and the left side of my neck and its quite painful

Starting about 4 hours ago, my right shoulder blade started having a sharp pain. I don’t recall doing anything earlier to mess anything up, I was just sitting in class. & If I breathe too hard, it hurts a little worse.

Is there any reason why it would be doing this?

whenever i am running, and haven’t had very much water my left shoulder really starts to hurt. it feels like a side ache, but in the shoulder; if you think about it, it’s kind of like the opposite of a side ache. do you know what i could do about it, or what it is?
