I don’t know what it is from, I’ve had it for months. It often keeps me out of work. I take Vicodin, it doesn’t take the pain away completely, but makes it a litlle better but then I am too tired to function. Massages make it worse. Heat sometimes helps, but it is such a large area if I put heat over all of it I will over heat. Motrin makes it worse. Any suggestions?
My other question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjTtud.vzk9F6hoVtwlQeeLsy6IX?qid=20070514164551AAPNaqD
I have been to physical therapy and an orthopedic doctor. Neither one helped. The dr never diagnosed anything the 6 months I went there and physical therapy again, made it worse. The therapist did say I had a scoliosis but this pain is through my whole body, even my legs and arms. I also get severe migraines since these pains started in October. THe whole history is in the other question, for the most part.

I do about ten push-ups and where my arm meets my shoulder starts to hurt really bad. Even after stopping, it hurts when I move my arm. After a few days, the pain stops; but as soon as I exert myself, it hurts again. Any clues as to what is happening? Any ideas as to what I can do to prevent or stop this?

During the summer I got into a pretty bad accident that caused my right shoulder blade to wig-out. I would get really bad cramps in it and eventually went to a chiropractor. After several weeks of treatment, my shoulder blade felt great and I was good to go on the last day of treatment (which ended early October). On Thanksgiving, I had my boyfriend crack my back (using the method our Chiropractor told him), and it felt great! Later on in the day I got a light sharp pain in my back, but it was light enough to ignore. Then I got a deeper one that brought me to the ground! I laid down, put some biofreeze on it, and tried to take a nap. Ever since – sitting in an odd position or laying in a wierd position or even breathing in too hard (causing my back to hunch) sends a really sharp pain down and around the area of my shoulder blade. Any doctors or nurses that can tell me what happened?!

For the last two weeks I feel like I have had pressure on my heart. Sometimes the pain goes to my left shoulder, then down to the hand. My arm aches a lot of the time. The doctor has checked my heart with a stethescope and said it’s not beating irregularly. Has anyone else experienced this, if so, what was it? Thank you

I have had pain which comes and goes.Treatment ideas?
Both thighs and shoulders have pain which comes and goes, what could it be, and how can it be treated? It seems also cold and humid weather make it worse. I have tried ibuprofen, aspirin, but they seem to be bandaid solutions. Sometimes I feel happy it is all gone, only for the pain to come back again! Please help me with ideas

My mum has suddenly developed a really bad upper back/shoulder pain, at the moment she cant move her left side. We think she may have slept funny or left that area uncovered during the cold night. Its saturday and dr closed, is there anything we can do home to relieve this.
