Around my shoulder area I get this dull pain. Not constant but frequent. Its random not when performing any particular activity it comes and goes. The pain itself appears to be internal, not on the surface. The doctor believes it is muscle pain but that seems odd to me as I cannot think of any activities that I have done that would cause this pain.
It is not caused by me sleeping on the shoulder. I do not sleep on it.

Recently my shoulder has been bothering me if I raise my arm above parallel with the ground. The only other time it hurts is when I’m at work, in front of the computer, using the mouse. Is this an ergonomics problem? If so, is my employer obligated to pay for treatment?

I got pain shooting down my arm, up in my shoulder sometimes the area around my upper forearm gets real achy like. I got a shooting feeling under my boob. I had a pain under my boob a few weeks ago and I could not take a deep breath, it was so bad I took an ambulance to the hospital. They did blood test, EKG, said it was nothing heart related. About 4 days ago I got a dizzy spell that lasted for hours, room was spinning. Went to hospital again…nothing. Now I am having these damn shooting pains in my arm and under my boob. Could it be trapped gas? I ate at Olive Garden tonight, I dont know. The docs are jerks at the hospital cause I have been out there 4 times in 2 months after a minor incision, with pains and infection. Now I got these pains in my arm, shoulder, wrist….hurts, I took 10mg percocet, not touching the pain. I thought gas cause I had abdominal surgery one time and had shoulder pain and arm pain…what do u think?

About a week ago, I felt a kink in my shoulder, I’m assuming from sleeping wrong on my somewhat comfortable hotel bed. Even though I’ve been avoiding sleeping on that side, it has gotten worse and spread to my neck.
In the daytime it’s just a slight annoyance, but laying down at night it’s killing! I can’t get into a single comfortable position and it wont go away. How do I get rid of it?

It started last night. All of a sudden i had this incredible pain just to the right of my left shoulder blade, and it lasted a few hours. when i got up this morning it was fine, but it has started again and its really uncomfortable. I haven’t injured myself or been doing any exercise that may have caused it. Can any one help?

Is it normal to feel like this or should I do something about it? I’m in a lot of pain with my neck and shoulder.

For the past about 20 minutes, I have been experiencing very bad pain to the direct right of my left shoulder blade. It usually happens when I move my left arm to lean forward and type, but I don’t know why it’s happening. Can anyone help? x.x
