My boyfriend woke up with an awful pain in the neck/shoulder area. I used to take Valerian root when I had neck/shoulder pain and it helped calm my muscles. I also have Siberian root which I have never tried. Which one would be better, or should he try something else?

This is really hard to ask but i need some advice and please without judgment….I have been bulimic for almost 6 years now and recently i have been having sharp chest pain. Tonight i was lying down and got up and had really sharp pain on my left side of my chest and on the left shoulder blade. The pain has now spread all across my chest. I am trying to get help for the disorder but have alot going on now. Can anyone please give me some advice on what this could be without judgment please…

I have had pain in my right shoulder that radiates to my back for 6 months or more. It is mostly achy but sometimes sharp pains in my upper back on the same side. Does anyone think this is gallbladder related? I am not having any abdominal pain. I can rotate my shoulder fine and it doesn’t feel like pain in my bone. I am in my 20’s and am just curious if anyone knows what this could be.

I have this horrible pain in my shoulder blade. It’s a little lower than the shoulder blade and there seems to be a ball formed around there. The pain shoots up towards my neck and even travels towards behind my right eye. I think it may be a pinched nerve. I try massaging it and it gets rid of some pain but it doesn’t get rid of that ball.

What are some other treatments for back pain that have worked for you? I tried physical therapy, chiropractor…I even went to a spine specialist but he was a moron. My pain is mostly in my lower right shoulder…a sharp pain that feels worse when it’s cold outside.

I have been experiencing back, shoulder, and neck pain for quite a long time now. Is there anything I can do to help with this? I’m only 20, and it’s starting to cut into what was already very little sleep. I know some of it is from stress, and some of it is from having a rather large chest (I’m a 40DD), but it seems like no matter what I do nothing really seems to help.

For last few days, whenever I stand up and put my arm down to side, I have a really bad pain in shoulder. It feel like as if my arm is squeezing blood veins in my shoulder and shut off circulation to my arm.

This have happen few time before and usually pain go away by next day.

I never have any serious injury to shoulder and haven’t hurt it in past few months.

what could it be that cause this pain?

I just had lap-band surgery a few days ago and my shoulder hurts so bad I cannot believe it. I am not wimpy about pain either. I have had two really difficult labor and deliveries and nothing compared to the pain I am having in my shoulder right now. I have put hot pads on it, taken pain meds, put icy hot on it, nothing helps. Did anyone else have this pain? What did you do to cope with it? Also, how long did it last? Please tell me it goes away quickly.

My 42 yr old husband has had shoulder blade pain for 2 days now and it is radiating to his front chest and he has trouble lifting his arm up and complains of having pain in his chest when he breathes deep. He is not sick in any way no cough, fever or anything of the sort. We have used pain relieving rub, heating pad and that stuff of home remedies and it isn’t helping. Is this something to be concerned about and looked at?
